On Monday evening, the Tammer team took over the ice hockey rink – and despite the biting -10°C cold, we had a surprisingly large turnout!
The game kicked off with a short training session for beginners, where quite a few handy tips were picked up. By the time the puck hit the ice, adrenaline was already soaring, backs were drenched, and the cold – along with the tight skates – was completely forgotten!
Even nature played its part in the experience – snowflakes falling against the backdrop of a stunning sunset created a true winter wonderland.
For many Tammer teammates, it was their first time on the hockey rink, and they quickly discovered that combining skating with floorball skills was much trickier than expected. At the same time, the ice was shared with hobby players and experienced amateurs, who respectfully held back to keep the game exciting and enjoyable for everyone.
The energy was high, the team spirit strong, and the experience absolutely incredible. See you again next year!
