Tammer Doors Sailing the Caribbean on Carnival Jubilee!

Did you know that besides construction world Tammer doors are also part of several cruise experiences? We produced and supplied a total of 188 metal and glazed profile doors for Carnival Jubilee’s public areas—including the medical center, conference rooms, promenade, restaurants and bars, teen club, arcade, galley, and more.

No two projects are alike, and Carnival Jubilee was no exception. Designing doors for a floating city like Carnival Jubilee means several challenges: bringing together durability, safety, and aesthetics required some really creative problem-solving. Our marine team handled the challenge and provided durable, reliable doors suited for life at sea.

Some fun facts about Carnival Jubilee, built by MEYER WERFT:

⭕ The cruise ship has a roller coaster on board!
⭕ Carnival Jubilee is powered by liquified natural gas for better efficiency and sustainability
⭕ It ‘s one of the largest ships in the Carnival fleet with a massive 183,521 GT.
⭕ The ship is mainly sailing from Galveston, Texas, across the Caribbean

This project marks our 8th collaboration with Carnival Cruise Line, covering both newbuild and refit projects. Excited to see where our doors will set sail next!
