Tammer hosted AIRE (AI & Robotics Estonia) Club’s 20th Meeting Dedicated to Industrial Digitalization and Cybersecurity

Last week Tammer had the honor of hosting and taking part of the 20th AIRE Club meeting in our academy rooms. This time the program was dedicated to industrial digitalization and cyber security: industry experts shared invaluable experiences and practical examples to help industrial companies navigate the evolving landscape of cyber threats.

The event began with an factory tour led by Tammer’s board member, Erkko Linnas. Everyone present had the chance to witness the creation of metal doors, observing the transition from human-operated processes to robotics and understanding the profound impact digitization has on shaping different operations in our production. We were very excited to see how big the interest was among the AIRE Club members and welcomed a record number of guests to our factory. 😊

The lecture segment started with Tammer’s chairman of the board Anti Tammo’s overview of the company and its production. Moving forward, attendees engaged in a deep panel discussion, gaining valuable insights into effective strategies for (industrial) companies dealing with cyber security.

As we become more digitally reliant and our teams expand, the importance of timely cyber threat assessment and strong security measures for industrial companies cannot be underestimated. It’s a collective effort involving every team member (not just IT partner or IT manager) to safeguard against evolving risks.

The event concluded with a lively free-form discussion over coffee and snacks. Sharing experiences with fellow industrial companies emphasized our similarities and provided a platform to exchange ideas on integrating digitization while ensuring strong and resilient cyber security measures.
