A Look Behind the Scenes at Our Facade Project
At Tammer we are currently in the middle of probably the largest glass facade project in our company’s history. We’re manufacturing large-scale EW60 fire-rated glass part…
Read the newsThe construction of the Arteri kvartal, located in Tallinn city centre, began in 2021. The first Tammer products, doors for the technical rooms on the basement floors, were delivered to the site a year later. Shortly after, Tammer doors were installed in the lift halls and adjoining rooms in the central building, followed by all three towers.
In total, we designed and manufactured 854 products for the Arter Quarter: 424 profile doors, windows, and partitions, and 430 sheet metal doors and hatches. The majority of the products provide fire resistance with ratings from EI30 to EI120. For the 28-storey Swedbank Estonia tower alone, we produced 419 products. 🔥
Located on the corner of Liivalaia and Juhkentali streets in central Tallinn, the Arter Quarter consists of 28-, 15-, and 9-storey towers connected by a central building with a parking house. The quarter offers 44,000 m² of commercial space, primarily offices, along with dining and service areas, as well as rental apartments.
The name Arter (artery) reflects its role at the city’s core: a new heart where Tallinn’s main streets converge like vital blood vessels.
The development has been awarded the BREEAM Excellent certification – a globally recognized environmental assessment method, where the quality of the building is evaluated by an independent body, Building Research Establishment (BRE).
