Environmental Product Declarations are becoming increasingly important in our industry, especially in meeting the demands of the Scandinavian market. Besides that, EPDs help us understand the environmental impact of our products better.
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a standardized document that describes a product’s environmental impact throughout its life cycle. It provides:

According to our CEO Liis Kokk, the completion of our first EPDs is an important milestone in Tammer’s sustainability journey and a big step forward in strengthening our competitiveness in the Scandinavian market. It shows that we are ready to meet the growing market and customer demands and that we act sustainably and responsibly at Tammer.
Our cooperation partner LCA Support conducted the product Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) based on our input data, calculating the environmental impact of our products. The results formed the basis for the third-party verified EPD documents.
The completion of the EPDs for single- and double-leaf sheet metal doors is only the first step. Next, we will begin work on the EPDs for our steel profile doors.
