Radiationproof metal doors are primarily used in hospitals and scanning rooms where X-ray radiation is present or poses a potential risk. These doors are essential for creating a safe environment in medical facilities and laboratories to protect people from radioactive exposure.

The required protection is ensured only if the wall, ceiling, and floor are also equipped with appropriate radiation shielding, and the door is installed by a qualified specialist.

The product complies with the DIN 6834-1 standard.

Construction

The door set is lined with lead cladding in accordance with the standard requirements, which absorbs radiation.

The door frame is made of 1.5 mm bent steel sheet with a standard depth of 100 mm.

The door leaf, with a thickness of 64 mm, is made of 1.0 mm steel sheet.

Finishing

The door set can be finished in various wet paint colours. It is also possible to order steel doors with a PVC coating or in stainless steel.

Extras

The door can be fitted with different mechanical or electric locks and door closer systems. It is also possible to add other accessories.
