Blast Resistant

Blast-proof hinged doors (EXR1-EXR5) are used in high-risk institutions where they reduce the consequences of a possible explosion by diminishing both material and non-material damage.

The doors have been tested according to the standard SS-EN 13124-2 or EN 14351-1 and classified according to the requirements of the standard SS-EN 13123-2 class EXR1-EXR5. Tests have also been carried out in accordance with the ISO 16933 standard. Resistance class EXV 15 (E).

The requirements for the door set are declared according to the requirements of the the customer. It is possible to add various properties (external door properties, resistance to sound, smoke and fire resistance, bulletproofness and burglar resistance, evacuation, etc.). The products are made of steel profiles of the SP500 series, which are made of unprocessed, galvanized or acid-resistant stainless steel EN 1.4404 (ASTM 316L, SS 2348). The profiles are reinforced according to the required explosion resistance class.

Glass slats are made of galvanized or stainless steel and are fixed with hidden or through screws. Glass slats come in different widths to accommodate glass of different thicknesses and blast-resistant properties.

The depth of the frame depends on the used profile series an is (from 65mm to 110mm).

Door set can be powder or wet painted in different RAL colors or have stainless steel brushed or polished finish. PVC covered steel and laminate can be used.

The door can be fitted with different mechanical locks and door closer systems.
