On September 25, the brand-new Viimsi Football and Athletics Hall officially opened its doors: quite literally, with 4 glass profile doors and 35 sheet metal doors projected, produced and supplied by Tammer. Our contribution features a diverse range of door types, from EI30 and EI60 fire-rated to soundproof and exterior solutions.
Until now, Viimsi’s football and athletics enthusiasts did not have year-round training facilities. The new hall finally brings year-round training possibilities under one roof, including a full-size football field built to FIFA standards, running tracks, long jump and pole vault areas, a gym, and much more.
The building itself is designed as an insulated frame structure, equipped with solar panels on the roof. Water used in showers and sinks is given a second life by being purified and reused in the restrooms.
We are proud to be part of such a sustainable architectural project.
