Tammer has invested one million euros in an automatic powder coating line

Tammer has invested one million euros in an automatic powder coating line, expanding the production area by 1500 m2.

New coating line does not only streamline Tammer’s existing operations but also opens up the doors into project-based serial production world.

Every new investment should also be another step towards sustainability. As a company that values sustainability as one of the core principles, Tammer tries to use all the resources as efficiently as possible. In the second stage of the project, we plan to harness the residual warmth from the new line to heat a part of our existing office building.

Besides sustainability, both safety and ergonomics also take the center stage in the new setup. The automatic powder coating line is located below the floor level, optimizing the process of hanging and removing doors.

But in the face of economic challenges, what prompted the decision to invest into expanding the production with such confidence? Tammer’s chairman of the board Anti Tammo shares an insight into company’s approach: “Throughout history, times of crises have been great opportunities for Tammer to find new markets and business directions. In challenging times markets usually redistribute, creating ideal conditions to explore new fields.”
