Tammer Received Recognition from the Ministry of the Interior for Supporting Volunteer Rescuers

Every year, Estonian Ministry of the Interior recognizes internal security volunteers and their supporters: individuals and organizations who make a significant contribution to a safer society, all out of their own free time and goodwill.

We are proud that this year Tammer’s team has also been recognized for supporting Estonian Rescue Association.

Tammer has supported the volunteer rescuers of the Rescue Association for many years and our cooperation has grown year by year. The management of Tammer has considered it important to support volunteer rescuers both materially and by providing our premises for various training sessions. At Tammer’s Academy, many volunteer rescuers have been able to participate in different training programs. This spring, we organized a practical training course for volunteer rescuers on door entry in crisis situations.

In addition, our employees genuinely care about the well-being of volunteer rescuers and wish to contribute to internal security themselves. For example, at the beginning of summer, our team members took part in the Oisu large-scale exercise, where our role was to act as villagers who had to move to a shelter in a dangerous situation and learn how to cope there.

We are grateful for the recognition from the Ministry of the Interior and look forward to many more years of cooperation with the Rescue Association.
