Last week marked the launch of the third season of “Rauataltsutajad” (Iron Tamers) — an Estonian TV series that highlights the importance of vocational skills, craftsmanship and metalwork. As an industrial manufacturing company, Tammer truly values initiatives like this that bring skilled trades into the spotlight alongside traditional entertainment content.

“Rauataltsutajad” focuses on high-quality and varied metalworking, as well as vocational education. In each episode, competitors put their steel nerves and golden hands to the test by welding products from completely different industries within a limited timeframe following precise technical instructions. Only those who can combine speed without compromising punctuality and quality make it through to the next rounds.
It is encouraging to see craftsmanship and hands-on skills being recognised, as it is the work of skilled professionals that keeps our everyday world functioning. The same applies at Tammer, where attention to detail and also commitment in one’s work are essential in manufacturing metal doors that help make the world a safer place.

One episode of Season 3 was filmed at Tammer’s production facility.
How well the contestants manage the daily work of our welders and grinders will soon be revealed on screen.
Iron Tamers airs on ETV every Thursday at 22:00.
