Flexibility

To support a smooth balance between work and family life, we offer our employees the option of remote work as well as flexible working and rest hours.

Our office also features a small children’s corner, making it possible to bring your child to work when needed.

Employee- and family friendliness

As an employee- and family-friendly company, we offer collective holidays twice a year. We also celebrate important family milestones with our employees – such as the birth of a child or when a child starts first grade.

In 2019, we were awarded the Silver Level Label as an employee- and family-friendly employer, which further confirms our commitment to valuing both our employees and their families.

Health and sports

The health of our employees is a top priority. That’s why we actively invest in both mental and physical well-being. We organize mental health workshops, walking challenges, and group hikes to help our team maintain a healthy balance.

Each year, we offer flu vaccinations at the workplace. In addition, employees can choose between health insurance or a sports benefit, allowing them to invest more in their personal well-being.

A friendly and supportive team

Our number one value is our people – and that focus begins already at recruitment.
We carefully select new team members, placing great importance not only on their skills but also on who they are as individuals.

Our employees are friendly, have a great sense of humor, and foster a strong team spirit.

We organize team-building events both within departments and across the company. The highlights of the year are undoubtedly our summer days and the annual Christmas gala – both highly valued and eagerly anticipated by everyone.

An inspiring and continuously improving work environment

We offer a constantly evolving and innovative work environment. We invest more than average in efficient tools and a comfortable workspace. Our office includes several relaxation areas where employees can unwind and connect with colleagues in a more informal setting.

In November 2023, we launched the Tammer Academy, a dedicated space for employee development. Through the Academy, we offer a variety of trainings, hands-on workshops, board game nights, company info sessions, and other important events that support both personal and professional growth.

Our number one value is our people – and that focus begins already at recruitment.

Experience stories

Estonia and Baltics Department Manager

Pavel Kazimirov

What is your Tammer story?

I’ve been working at Tammer for 22 years in total. I started my journey as a project manager. As the company grew and new responsibilities emerged, I spent some time juggling both roles – project manager and head of the project department. Later, I worked for 11 years as a senior project manager. Today, I lead the Estonian and Baltic regional department. What I appreciate most about Tammer is that it’s never boring – the company’s constant growth and evolving solutions bring new challenges that keep the work exciting and motivating.

If Tammer were an animal, what kind?

A bison that keeps charging forward, leaving a trail of dust behind. I also like to compare Tammer to a majestic cruise ship – one that can’t turn on a dime, but when the course changes, it moves steadily and confidently in the right direction, without making unnecessary maneuvers.

I have a strong passion for cooking – enough to satisfy a whole house full of people! On several occasions, I’ve planned complete menus and prepared meals for groups, such as during Tammer’s ski trips.

Quality Specialist

Keidi Nael

What is your Tammer story?

I’ve been working at Tammer since January 2024. I originally applied for a position in quality control, as I was in the final year of my quality specialist studies and eager to get my foot in the door of a quality department. I didn’t get the position, and in hindsight, I felt it might not have been the right fit for me anyway. However, even after just one interview, I felt genuinely drawn to Tammer as a company and to the people in the quality team. I decided to inquire about an internship as a quality specialist, which I needed to complete for my studies anyway. After the internship, I stayed on in the same role, and the journey has been both exciting and educational. I especially enjoy taking part in business trips abroad, contributing to problem-solving, and getting hands-on when needed. I truly appreciate my supportive and fun colleagues, Tammer’s employee- and customer-friendly approach, flexibility, team events, professional challenges, and the constant drive for development.

If Tammer were an animal, what kind?

A hardworking, diligent bee that values collaboration. Bees are incredibly organized – each has a specific role, and most importantly, they all work toward a common goal. This perfectly reflects how every contribution is valued at Tammer, and how each team member plays an important part in achieving shared success.

Many of my colleagues probably don’t know that I’m an active member of the Women’s Voluntary Defence Organization (Naiskodukaitse) and currently serve as the Vice-Chair and a board member of the Kose unit within the Harju District. My father holds the rank of lipnik (Second Lieutenant), and there are many members of the Defence League in his side of the family. My sister is also a member of Naiskodukaitse and works as a youth leader with the Young Eagles (Noorkotkad) and Home Daughters (Kodutütred). So, you could say that national defence runs in our blood.

Technologist

Viktor Pobjaržin

What is your Tammer story?

In March 2020, I joined Tammer as a press brake operator. Just a couple of months later, I was offered the position of an assembler in the marine door department. At first, it felt a bit intimidating, but I quickly adapted and successfully assembled doors until October 2021. Then, an opportunity arose to step into the role of Marine Door Technologist – a challenge I gladly accepted. I was eager to grow professionally and contribute to solving the bottlenecks I had observed during my time in assembly. What I value most at Tammer is the sense of stability, security, support for personal development, and the opportunity to actively contribute to product improvement.

If Tammer were an animal, what kind?

A resilient, strong, and forward-driven tiger who isn’t afraid of challenges.

I’m a versatile person – I can fix electronics, do plumbing work, or cook dinner if needed.

HR Specialist

Melissa Kiviraijuja

What is your Tammer story?

I joined the Tammer team in the autumn of 2023, starting as an Office Manager. However, just a few weeks later, an opportunity arose for me to grow professionally – today, I work as an HR Specialist, with a primary focus on production and the well-being of our production employees. What I value most at Tammer is the warm and open atmosphere, a solution-oriented mindset, continuous opportunities for self-development through training, and – most importantly for me – the fact that Tammer is a family-friendly company with flexible working hours. One of my favorite memories is a fun moment I call “Women in the Sauna Meeting” – a spontaneous brainstorming session on the sauna bench that led to some truly great ideas and joyful decisions about upcoming team events.

If Tammer were an animal, what kind?

The Ox! An ox values family and personal life, yet is highly cooperative and dependable. It embodies strength, provides a sense of security, and inspires everyone around it.

One little-known fact about me is that, alongside Estonian, I also acquired Russian as one of my first spoken languages, as I began my early childhood in a Russian-language kindergarten.

I joined Tammer in the summer of 2013 and have been working in the same role ever since – as an ERP Development Manager. What I enjoy most about the company is the friendly team, the flexibility of the workplace, and the variety in my tasks – every day brings something interesting.

If Tammer were an animal, what kind?

The Rabbit – because it is joyful and kind-hearted. The rabbit symbolizes longevity and has the ability to handle many situations with ease.
