In addition to doors, partition walls and hatches, Tammer’s product family has recently welcomed a brand-new and, in terms of scale, its most substantial member: facades.

Our complete interior and exterior facade solutions, covering everything from project management and production to delivery, are designed primarily for large-scale and open spaces such as metro and airport facilities, shopping centres, commercial buildings, public buildings and other similar environments.

Our first major reference project (see the gallery below) is already in progress: eight Stockholm metro stations, where we installed EW60 fire-resistant facades. Should a fire occur, the facades are designed to help contain flames, smoke and heat within the platform area, preventing them from spreading via the escalators into the station corridors.

Facade systems can be manufactured with fire resistance ratings of up to EI90 and security classes of up to RC4. Depending on the specifics of the project, a number of additional properties can also be achieved, such as enhanced sound insulation, bullet resistance or other required technical performance indicators.

All orders are 100% project-based. This means we can fill openings of almost any size, shape and specification, developing a carefully considered and functional solution for each client. Every solution is designed to meet both the architectural vision — including possibilities such as corner solutions and integrated window and door openings — as well as fire safety, security and other essential requirements.

As every facade solution depends on the specific project, dimensions, architectural choices and construction requirements, we recommend contacting Tammer’s sales department to discuss the available options in more detail.
