In addition to doors, partition walls and hatches, Tammer’s product family has recently welcomed a brand-new and, in terms of scale, its most substantial member: facades.

This project stands out from many of our marine references for one very visible reason: colour. From bright yellow and blue tones to various pictures and patterns, the doors blend into the ship’s vibrant interior design while also meeting the technical fire and noise reduction requirements. Star of the Seas entered service in August 2025 and is among the world’s largest cruise ships, with capacity for more than 7,000 passengers at full occupancy. Sailing mainly from Port Canaveral, Florida, the vessel spends much of its time in the Caribbean.
And the ship itself is just as playful as its interiors, featuring numerous pools and waterslides, musicals and theatrical shows with waterfalls, more than 40 restaurants and bars, multi-level family suites with indoor slides — and even a resident golden retriever, Sailor, serving as the ship’s Chief Dog Officer.
