2025 marked an important milestone for Tammer — our 30th anniversary. It is a good moment to look back, but even more importantly, to look ahead.

EPDs are now available for our stainless, galvanized and carbon steel profile products manufactured using the SP300 (uninsulated), SP500 (insulated) and SP700 (fire-insulated) profile systems. Environmental Product Declarations had previously already been completed for Tammer’s single- and double-leaf sheet metal doors as well.

The Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) behind these EPDs were carried out by our cooperation partner LCA Support, using Tammer’s input data.
LCA is a scientific method used to quantify a product’s environmental impacts from production to end of life. Based on these calculations, an Environmental Product Declaration provides standardized and comparable information on environmental performance. Independent third-party verification ensures the reliability of the results.
In the Nordic countries, climate impact calculations are a mandatory part of the building permit process. EPDs provide the data needed to include products in these assessments, whether the project is residential, commercial or public.
Tammer’s EPD documents are available via EPD Hub and on Tammer’s website.
