One work week at Tammer: lost luggage, runway rabbits and strong partnerships

The first half of the week was spent in France, where the team visited the Chantiers de l’Atlantique Cabin Factory to receive the evaluation of our first three years of cooperation. We were very pleased to hear such positive feedback. It is rewarding to know that our work and commitment have been recognised.

Unfortunately, as our luggage was lost on the way to France, we arrived at the meeting rather unprofessionally dressed. Luckily, the CdA team kindly provided us with suitable workwear so we could safely visit their production facilities.

During our time in France, we also visited the shipyard to meet with the team responsible for public areas to discuss upcoming projects and future cooperation, and step aboard vessel B36 to inspect some of Tammer’s installed products. Seeing a vessel of this scale up close was truly impressive. Hats off to the entire CdA team for making projects like this a reality!

The second half of the week took us to Ireland, where we met with The Deluxe Group. We had the opportunity to learn more about their operations, visit several impressive projects and deliver an introductory training session on Tammer’s marine fire rated door solutions. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail behind their work was truly inspiring to see.

We finished the busy week at MJM Marine’s Annual Charity Golf Day in Newry. While Kaimur got to put his golf skills to the test, the rest of the day was spent enjoying great conversations and even better company with our long standing partners from MJM.

By the end of the week, our social batteries were completely empty and we were ready to fly home. Just to make the trip a little more memorable, a family of ten rabbits had made its way onto the airport runway, delaying our flight and leaving us with a very tight transfer. Of course, our luggage decided to stay behind once again.
